You invest money to exhibit at exhibitions to market yourselves, build new relationships/connections and hopefully gain new business and clients. It’s important that your exhibition stand is 3 things: memorable, noticeable and impactful.
It’s not often we get to say this, being based up in Preston where it’s raining the majority of the time, but we’ve really been enjoying the sunshine on the Docks this past week! One member of the team hasn’t been so lucky though – Becka went to Krakow last week and took the rain and clouds with her. Hopefully Vic, our General Manager has more luck in Ibiza this week!
The reason for exhibiting at an exhibition is to stand out and grab attention to your stand. Exhibitions are where communications begin and relationships are formed and with the new laws of GDPR coming into place on 25th May, exhibitions will become even more important for your business.
Well, it’s no longer winter (although it doesn’t feel like it) and we’re already 4 months in to 2018! We can’t believe just how quickly this year is going already, the countdown to Christmas will be on soon! In the meantime, we’ve jumped right in to Spring working on lots of signage projects.

Ever wondered if networking for your business works? We’ve been members of Shout! Network for many years and it’s brought us, as a small family-run business, so much exposure both face-to-face and on social media.
January is usually the month for adjusting back to working life, getting back into the 9-5 routine and starting the dreaded diet. Signage and printing aren’t usually at the forefront of peoples minds. Although 2018 has started quite differently for PPS, it’s been a busy start to the year with various print, exhibition and signage projects on the go!
Now we’re reflecting on this year, we’ve been involved in some unique and very bespoke projects including branded dodgems, a Christmas chalet and gold podiums for the MOBO awards. We have also been working on a huge signage project all year, with Preston based marketing consultants BHA, down in Crawley.
What a better way to round 2017 off than printing Christmas chalet graphics? We’ve been working alongside fellow family and Preston based business, Williams Handbaked Bakery for the past few months on many exciting projects.
Year after year, I’ve sat at home watching the MOBO awards from my sofa, seeing the likes of Rihanna, Mary J Blige and Craig David perform or win awards. Well this year not only did PPS design and print graphics for the VIP reception, we also attended the award ceremony and walked the red carpet!
A sign it’s nearly Christmas…everyone’s wanting new signs
: 21st November, 2017
Christmas is fast approaching and it’s a very scary thought that it’s almost 2018. Christmas jumpers, scarves, pigs in blankets, mulled wine, hot chocolate; it’s the most festive time of year. People are also using this time to treat their shops and businesses to a new sign before the festivities.
School branding and graphics are on the up, as schools invest in marketing like never before. Marketing has become important to schools to entice students and parents to choose their school. Through reception graphics, corridor art or new signs.
We’ve worked with Bartle Hall Hotel on branding and producing their exhibition displays for a number of years now, but in the last few months we have designed and printed some completely bespoke projects for the family owned wedding venue.
Keeping at the forefront of technology is a key focus for PPS and in the last few months we like to think we have raised the bar on this. In the age of digital technology we have found customers demand more from their user experience and digital signage is key to improving it!
Why should your business exhibit at an exhibition?
: 16th October, 2017
With exhibitions being one of the most beneficial forms of marketing it would be silly to not get involved and show your company off. Consequently if done properly exhibiting opens up so many opportunities and connections with potential customers. It may seem ‘old school’ but people do really like to build relationships and connections face to face.
WeYour signage says a lot about your business and is a powerful advertising tool in getting you noticed and remembered. It promotes your business 24/7 making it essential that your business signage is well designed, produced and installed.
Our Fabric Graphics are the star of the show at the moment! It seems our customers are moving away from the traditional roller-banners and pop up stands for their exhibitions and events, to try our new fabric displays.
